QuicAds JM ("QuicAds", "we", "us") is a free classifieds platform serving Jamaica and the Caribbean. We are operated by Classic Media Company.
2. Information We Collect
When you post an ad, we collect only what you voluntarily provide:
- Ad title, description, category, price and location
- Your contact information (phone, WhatsApp or email) — displayed publicly on your ad
- Photos or videos you upload
We do not require account registration and do not collect passwords.
We may also automatically collect standard web server data such as your browser type and approximate location for analytics purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To display your ad publicly on QuicAds
- To allow buyers or interested parties to contact you directly
- To improve our platform and prevent abuse
4. Photos and Media
Photos you upload are stored securely via Google Firebase Storage and are publicly accessible via a unique URL associated with your ad. Do not upload images containing sensitive personal information.
5. Third-Party Services
QuicAds uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase — database and file storage
- In the furture we will be using Google AdSense — advertising (may use cookies to serve relevant ads)
- Google Fonts — typography
6. Cookies
QuicAds itself does not set tracking cookies. Google AdSense, when active, may use cookies to serve personalised ads. You can opt out via Google Ad Settings.
7. Data Retention
Ads remain active until they expire or are removed. If you wish to have your ad and associated data removed, contact us using the details on our Contact page.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to request removal of any ad or personal information you submitted. Contact us and we will process your request within 5 business days.
